The Tillamook Forest Center opened in April and Fellows toured the new facility along with small woodland owners during the Oregon Small Woodlands Association annual meeting. The Tillamook Forest Center is located at the heart of the Tillamook State Forest, and is the region’s newest interpretive and educational center. The center showcases the legacy of the historic Tillamook Burn, as well as the monumental reforestation efforts that left a permanent imprint on Oregon history while also shaping sustainable forest management today.
